How wishlists work
Create a gift wishlist guests can access on your party page.
Built-In Wishlist
Party Pilot includes a native wishlist feature — no MyRegistry or third-party tools required.
Creating Your Wishlist
1. Go to your event dashboard
2. Click "Wishlist" or "Registry"
3. Add items directly or paste links from any online store
4. Organize by priority or category
Adding Items
You can add:
- Native items — Add items directly in Party Pilot
- External links — Paste URLs from Amazon, Target, Etsy, etc.
- Custom items — Add non-purchasable items like "help with setup"
For each item, include:
- Item name
- Link (optional)
- Price (optional)
- Notes or preferences
- Priority level
How Guests See It
When guests visit your party page:
1. They see your wishlist section
2. Click any item to view details
3. Mark items as "purchased" (optional)
4. No login required to view or shop
Gift Matching
When gifts are given:
- You can match gifts to guests
- Track who gave what
- Generate thank-you notes automatically
- See gift history alongside photos
Privacy Controls
You control visibility:
- Show wishlist to all guests
- Hide specific items
- Disable wishlist entirely
Tips for Success
- Keep it updated — Remove purchased items
- Include variety — Different price points for all budgets
- Be specific — Include colors, sizes, preferences
- Say thank you — Use gift matching for easy thank-you notes
No separate registry site needed. Everything's built in.
